A Homage to the Impact of Indian Americans
The South Asian Engagement Foundation celebrated 75 years of Indian independence and the story of the Indian American community at One World Trade Center on Sep 24 through Sep 26.
The digital activation comprised three compelling animation themes, the imagery depicted the rich heritage and cultural roots of the Indian American community. At the same time, it highlighted how all things Indian are fast becoming an integral part of American life.
The theme is about India’s Ayurveda & Spirituality and how these aspects of this ancient sciences have become mainstream staples in daily American life. another theme focuses on the Indian American’s community strong educational background that led them to be accomplished Doctors, Scientists, Technocrats, Entrepreneurs and Spelling Bee champs.
The digital animation included an animated Indian Flag. The concept and context of the curation can was seen on landing page where all the themes and its significance are explained in detail.
The expression was scheduled to coincide with the final days of the UN general assembly
